Two Months and counting...

Can't believe it's already been two months. I wanted Suzanne to write a summary of the two months since she spends the most time with her, but she hasn't had the time. Maybe I'll get this updated sometime soon. Well here's some of my favorite pics from the last two months.

Enjoy!!!

Cock A Doodle Cafe

Today we went to get brunch at Cock-A-Doodle Cafe with a few friends. The food was great and I would highly recommend it if you ever find yourself in Oakland in the morning. We got to sit outside in the patio which provided more than enough room for the kids. Suzanne and I had the prosciutto with poached eggs and sour cream over sourdough bread as well as the strawberry ricotta stuffed graham cracker crusted french toast. The french toast was huge and although I wasn't that hungry, it looked too good to pass up.

After breakfast we went over to Thuan's place to check out his latest home improvements. Let me just say, that man is crazy. I have no idea how he has time to do all the stuff he does. It's pretty amazing.

Lastly, Russ, Wiana, and Quoc came over for a quick visit. Here are all the pictures for the day:

Random visitors...

It was a pretty much a lazy Sunday for me. Got up around noon, took care of the baby a bit, then popped in a DVD. Watched Apocalypto (oh, btw Jimmy I borrowed your DVD 8)) which I have to admit was a lot better than I expected. Watch it if you have a chance although make sure you have time as the movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes, but I really enjoyed the bonus features too. So make sure you have 3 hours free!

At the end of the movie I heard a couple of loud car door slams. I immediately looked out the window and saw Justin and Sherman approaching. I thought it was a bit strange but Sherman said he was just in the neighborhood along with Justin. They also brought one huge box of Church's chicken and 4 boxes of dried fried chicken from San Tung. That's a whole lot of chicken!!! I really didn't think much of it as I thought Justin probably came to visit Mackenzie for the first time and I was honored Sherman had decided to hang out with us old married folk again. LOL. Lo and behold a few minutes later up comes Chris, Amy, and Ray. This time they brought Nate's BBQ ribs and brisket, Bucca's seafood spaghetti, and ice cream from Ici. By this time, yes I became a little suspicious about these random visitors. The rest of my visitors for the day were Jeff, Jon, Jun, Tony, Candace, and Ed! Yes it was a very nice surprise and they all brought good food to eat. The burnt caramel ice cream from Ici though, I must say was still the highlight of the day. It was good time just hanging out and having people visit Mackenzie and I think I might have found a few potential "mannies"! Jun was the last to leave as he stayed to play Resident Evil 4 with me on the Wii. I finally had to kick him out as his random camera motions were finally making me ill. Thanks again everyone for "randomly dropping by"!!!

Here some pictures from that day:

Brunch at EB's!!!

Our old fellowship leaders EB and Suzanne Chou were kind enough to invite some of us over for brunch. Well ok... maybe we invited ourselves, but they still let us come! 8) Jon Kwok was "working" that day and thus we missed out on his little dim sum he was going to bring. Brunch was still good with from what I remember was a million waffles on the table. It got a little confusing at the table with the name "Suzanne" passed around so much I had no idea if they were talking to my wife or EB's. It was good seeing Matthew and Jordan again as watching all these kids get older makes me realize how old I am getting. Here is a picture from our brunch.

Yes, Tony put something different in his waffle mix. Hmm.....I knew that wasn't really flour!
